Nick graduated Loyola University-Chicago in 2008 with a degree in Social Work. Following college, Nick gained experience working with patients who suffer from severe co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders in an acute care hospital. Later, Nick joined the Department of Children and Family Services in Milford, Connecticut which is where Nick found his passion in working with late teen and young adults. Nick has an incredible ability to connect with people and his lively spirit can inspire drive and optimism in those he serves. Nick thrives on the front lines, where he teaches and guides his clients to navigate simple to complex symptoms as well as everyday challenges.

Biana Mavasheva, LCPC, QMHP
and Mindfulness Coach
Biana's approach to therapy is integrative – a mind-body-spirit healing process developed in her early spiritual counseling work. She learned to incorporate practical tools for clarifying and strengthening a client's existing strengths, including mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral approaches. Therapy sessions are used to explore how to make peace with what is, and find ways to reframe our difficulties as opportunities.

Shawntrell Moore, MA, CADC
Shawntrell is a Certified Addiction Counselor with 10+ years of experience in the field. Populations he has worked with include, youth, men, women, couples, and groups. His focus is to assist people in finding comfort with emotional vulnerability and introspection of thoughts, behaviors, and values. With this type of focus, he believes people are able to live authentically, cope in healthy ways, and gain a greater sense of autonomy in their lives. His approach is warm, diverse, flexible, and empathic.

Andrea Burton, MA, NCC, LPC
Andrea is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. While in graduate school, she chose to specialize in counseling because she wants to help each client find the best version of themselves. Since each client is unique, Andrea takes a blended approach to therapy; she focuses on client centered techniques as well as cognitive behavioral strategies to best meet the needs of her clients. Andrea tailors each therapy session by identifying both a client’s strengths and areas of growth. She does this in an empathetic and respectful way. Andrea’s therapy interests include anxiety, women’s issues, and relationship issues.
