Sober Companion

Monarch Sober Companions act as an advocate to an individual new to recovery by providing day to day direct supervision so that a client can navigate their living environment successfully. Sober Companionship is usually recommended to a client after they leave a residential treatment facility to help ensure safety from relapse and to maintain a structured schedule.  Engagement with a sober companion usually lasts 30 days or longer. The time required to effect a meaningful change varies considerably depending upon the client, co-occurring disorders, and the family system at home. A Sober Companion encourages a client to initiate and maintain health routines such as, attending support groups, maintaining nutrition and fitness goals, complying with medication recommendations and can even provide transportation to the client. The primary duty of a Sober Companion is to ensure that the recovering individual does not relapse by helping them to avoid a risky situations or events that can jeopardize the recovery process.

Clinical Transport

Monarch provides Clinical Transportation Services to clients that need safe supervision during travel and to ensure that they arrive at their intended destination. Clinical transportation is a service often used for Intervention clients so that they follow through with their commitment to enter a treatment program. Clients may also be looking for transportation support while traveling from one treatment center to another, or for a client that is given a pass to visit family or a business event during treatment.  We travel anywhere in the world within a moments notice, and we can transport an individual who is under the influence of substances, as along as they are not in need of direct medical attention and are physically stable enough to fly or drive. We can provide all travel arrangements, assist with proper documentation, as well as pack and unpack personal belongings, if needed. We are familiar with all TSA procedures and can help navigate airport procedures seamlessly while respecting a client's confidentiality. Our travel companions will make sure all medical documentation and personal belongings get into the proper hands of the treatment facility or family member.
