Our History

In 2012, Monarch began with the intentions of showing individuals that the process of addiction recovery can be just as much fun, as it is hard work. Under the different company name called A'vue, Monarch started using outdoor experiences as a way to help build hope and confidence in people who felt stuck, and unfulfilled in their lives. To this day, Monarch remains passionate about nature and uses outdoor elements as a teaching tool and a source of healing for individuals who face a broad range of afflictions. Although Monarch has evolved and now offers a variety of addiction and mental health services both in and outside of the office, its passion to service others is still the same. Monarch is a growing group practice that offers experienced clinical staff who are dedicated to helping people improve their lives by learning from their past, honoring their present and setting their intentions for a hopeful future. ​

Monarch's comprehensive clinical approach is focused on helping clients explore underlying problems, as well as learning how to cope with common symptoms.  Our staff uses a solution-focused approach to therapy what affirms a client's strengths and helps to set practical goals that support a lifestyle of sustainable health and wellness. Personal change is an experiential process that involves education to help develop awareness, opportunities that produce results, and a positive outlook that creates optimism. The change process occurs from the outside in; therefore Monarch encourages clients to experience life in a way that brings emotional reward, and physically exhilaration into our lives. It's these external experiences that help people build internal feelings and thoughts of hope, confidence, and self-esteem. This is when the mind, body, and spirit become cohesive and allow a person to heal finally.
